The Ko-Axis™ Rail Pen uses a flat, wide, rectangular body designed for comfortable writing and compact everyday carry. Its 4-1/2-inch length and 6 mm low-profile body, measuring less than 1/4 inch thick, make it suitable for carrying with journals, notebooks and diaries. A magnetic twin-rail mechanism extends and retracts the ink refill without a separate cap, while the embedded micro socket enables tool-free refill replacement using a pull-to-remove and push-to-insert method. The pen accepts a range of commonly available D1 stylus refills, including Fisher pressurised refills for writing upside down. Its skeletonised twin-rail body is lightweight and robust, with a balanced, symmetrical profile that provides the same writing comfort for right- and left-handed users. The flat, anti-roll design helps the pen stay in place, and the mechanism is designed to prevent unintended ink retraction during use. This aluminium edition has a hardwearing Cerakote finish. Cerakote is a proprietary ceramic-polymer coating that provides durability, hardness, scratch resistance, corrosion resistance, flexibility, and resistance to heat and chemicals. The pen is assembled from 24 individually custom-machined and selected components for consistent quality and long-term use.
